These terms cover your use of stuffandthings.co.nz, including the free quick business audit. The site is run by Sammy Rae, trading as Stuff & Things, in Wānaka, New Zealand. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you work with me, my terms of business apply to that work.
The quick business audit
- The audit uses AI (Anthropic’s Claude) to write a read-out from your answers, and from your website if you give it.
- The read-out is general information to help you think about your business. It isn’t professional, legal, financial or tax advice, and it can get things wrong. Check anything important before you act on it.
- Please don’t enter sensitive information, such as customer details, passwords or health information. The audit only needs a general picture of how your business works.
- When you run the audit, I receive your answers and email address so I can follow up. How I handle that is set out in my privacy policy.
- The audit is free and there’s no obligation. I may limit how often it can be run to keep it working for everyone.
Using this website
- Please use the site lawfully. Don’t try to break it, overload it, or use automated tools to scrape it or run the audit in bulk.
- The words, design, logo and images on this site belong to Stuff & Things or are used with permission. You’re welcome to share links, but please don’t copy the content as your own.
- Prices on the site are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST. They can change; the price that applies to any work is the one in your quote or Statement of Work.
- Examples of past work are real, and anonymised unless the client has agreed to be named. Figures described as projections or “on track” are estimates, not guarantees of what you’ll get.
Links to other sites
The site links to other services, such as Calendly for booking a chat and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
Liability
I work to keep the site accurate and available, but I can’t promise it always will be. To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss from using the site or relying on the audit read-out. If you’re using the site for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 doesn’t apply, to the extent the law allows.
